I can’t recommend enough that everybody should head to Somerset House to see Tim Walker’s mesmerising (and FREE) Story Teller Exhibition. It is magical. I don’t want to give too much away but it’s like walking into a fairytale dreamworld. For anybody who loved fiction as a child, this will take you back to when you believed in Neverland and never growing up.
Tim Walker is probably one of the most famous fashion photographers of all time, and this I think is the best exhibition in the East Wing gallery I’ve seen so far. It is the product of five years of work and it’s clear that Walker puts his heart, soul and childhood imagination into everything he creates. The focus is on the photograph, alongside installations and a selection of extraordinary props.
Here are a few photographs i sneakily shot whilst there yesterday, I couldn’t resist. If you want to read a full review of the exhibition, here is one by the Telegraph fashion section with an online gallery too… Do have a look if you can’t go in person!
